Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door is a Society registered as a Charity. It operates on the Decision of the Court of First Instance no. 2964 / 12.6.1972 and its approved statutes.
Since 28.3.2003, CPG also holds the Operating License No. 3892 of the Prefecture of Athens, as a: “Day Care Center for people with cerebral palsy, aged 4 years and over”, as amended by the reference number 4300-25/7/2014 and 6277-17/10/2016 decisions of the Attica Regional Authorities.
CPG also holds all the necessary certifications for its operation.
Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door has received a series of awards over the years, including:
- Two Academy of Athens Awards (1982 and 2012) for “Distinguished Service” and for “Forty years of service to children, young people and adults suffering from cerebral palsy, through the systematic rendering of outstanding services, programmes and activities that aim at the improvement and quality of their lives.”
- the Gold Cross of the Order of Bienfaisance (2002) from the President of the Greek Republic.
