“DROMEAS” is the sports club of Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door.
Founded in 2000, it is the only association in Greece that exclusively addresses people with cerebral palsy. It is recognized by the General Secretariat of Sports and is a registered member of the National Sports Federation for Persons with Disabilities.
While offering athletes enjoyment and satisfaction and experiences that promote social maturation and maintenance of good physical condition, “DROMEAS” aims at:
- the satisfactory participation of its athletes in Pan-hellenic championships and international sports events
- the training of specialized staff for the development of sports for people with cerebral palsy
- the raising of awareness of the general public as to the potential of people with cerebral palsy
