Occupational therapy for children

Under the guidance of specialized therapists, children receive clinical occupational therapy and instruction in computer skills.

The purpose of this therapeutic intervention is basically to help the child improve its functional, cognitive, communicative, psychological and social skills in order to acquire greater autonomy and to participate more actively and fully in the classroom.

An important factor is also the acceptance of its disability both by the child itself and by its parents, so that they can both collaborate positively in the solving of difficulties and the discovery of solutions for problems in daily living.

The occupational therapists adapt appliances and equipment, according to the individual needs of each child and instruct children and parents in their correct application, in order to facilitate eating, dressing, bathing etc.

The occupational therapists collaborate closely with the team of experts, with the purpose of solving problems together and through home visits they facilitate parents in the daily care of their child.
